I turned the TV down and checked the tuning at the 5th fret and it sounded as it should, so the tuner wasn't just daydreaming or anything. When it was finished I did a full 6-string check and all 6 were right in tune.

The manual isn't overly explanatory and I had no clue that it would wind AND tune it up in the same process. Just pluck between winding and the tuner will take over! Since the last full tuning I'd done was standard tuning, the Min-Etune returned my guitar to the state I started out at, which is very very cool. I moved down to the A, same thing, and all the way down to the e. Where it got interesting.and surprising since I didn't know it could do this.is that while it's winding, it's also listening! I was plucking the E string checking it's tension and before I know it, the guitar is tuning that string up. String it, leaving an inch or so of slack, lock the tops, cut away the excess, push a few buttons and hold down the UP button while it winds. Putting it back together was just the reverse of taking it apart. The fingerboard was thirsty for sure and I gave the paint a new wax job. I spent an hour or so doing general maintenance on the guitar. I started at the E and worked my way down to e, unlocked the tops, pulled all the strings out and that part was done. A few button pushes and the tuner will unwind whichever string it's currently set on. I decided to let the Min-tune do all the work, and I gotta say, I got one hell of a surprise.
This evening I had to correct the error that the shop made when they installed D'Addario XL's on my '14 Standard instead of the stock Cleartone 9/46's.
